We finally went through WET (for the first time we named it WET for Ways entrance test) where we wanted to check, how much wet were you with creativity intelligence and all such good things. To tell you all, we are evaluating your sheets and by coming monday the results should positively be out. We had nice presence but once again not as holistic as we wanted, but round about we had some 70 participants though, its not worth adulations but we were and are happy to see enthused students who wanted to do something good.
I said it during test and saying it once again, getting into Ed-Board is one thing and contributing for magazine is another, and somehow those who are not in Ed-Board hold greater importance for us than those inside and thats so for two reasons, first; those outside ed-board are the major contributor of material and secondly they are also the readers, the most important thing for the ones inside ed-board. Many of my peers may hate how I de-glorify things, but I have found out with sheer experience that most of the times this glory is simply faux. Even in ed-board we do not look beautiful after we sit for hours in a small room in front of a computer at printers place, and all that glory business vanishes at that point of time. So even you do not get into ed-board, we the board members feel great honor in providing you the toughest and trickiest job, the job of critic, we need it.
Now there may be one question brewing into your heads, what after WET, after WET we will have WIT for you. WIT is abbreviated form for Ways Induction Test, it would be interview + a more rigorous test of your writing skills, checking every gene of your thought process. So get ready for it...but yes there is still some time for it, probably a week or so but not more than that.
I love two things, first: queries, second: more queries. so please put your queries in as comments or mail them to us if they are classified type ;) .
